Romanian FAI Qualifying Sailplane Grand Prix 1-8 May 2011. On behalf of the Romanian Airclub and the Romanian Aeronautical Federation we would like to welcome all the Grand Prix glider pilots around the world to pariticipate in the Romanian FAI Qualifying Sailplane Grand Prix in May 2011.This is the first ever Qualifying Sailplane Grand Prix held in Romania thus opening a practically new gliding location for this type of event. The remarkable weather conditions in spring in combination with a hill / mountain area and the relatively short tasks of GP gliding can offer the outstanding gliding experience of our country for the first time.
