Voici un extrait: "The first competition day From the very beginning of the day the spirits were high – the real gliding and competing was to start. The weather was also a promise of a good flying day. All classes had to fly racing tasks – on distances ranging from 285.2 to 297.7 km. The towing started at about 12.30. It is a memorable day since a new record was set - during 1 hour and 5 minutes 128 gliders were given the launch - what the tow pilots proudly announced. And here the competitors started the tasks. Most starts were declared after 2 p.m. It didn’t take pilots long to complete the tasks and soon they were back. After less than 3 hours they were reporting one by one that they were on their final glide. The landings were especially spectacular around 5 p.m. – at one moment I counted 10 gliders in the sky. The weather conditions were underestimated, the tasks were completed in less than 3 hours and the day was devalued. The preliminary results are as follows – winners of the day: standard class - Tomas Rendala (BS) from Czech Republic, 15m – Gyorgy Gulyas (V8) from Hungary, 18m – Ralf Fischer (808) from Germany, open – Jan W. Andersen (A) from Denmark. Till tomorrow. JNV Posté(e) le 4 août 2003 Signaler Posté(e) le 4 août 2003 Par contre, "notre" Daniel Rossier régional, à défaut de national, a rétrogradé un peu. Il est désormais 8ème, à 385 points de GG, lui-même 3ème... Allez Yop + Equipe de France!
